تجمعت مجموعة من الامهات يوم الاحد الثامن من شباط 2009 في عدة مدن من العالم مع ابنائهن، و عائلاتهن و اصدقائهن تضامنا مع الشعب الفلسطيني لتقديم عزائهن للأمهات و العائلات في غزة بمناسبة ذكرى الاربعين على وفاة اول طفل فلسطيني. شاركت الأمهات الأردنيات اخواتهن في بيروت، نابلس، دبي، دري، سان هوزي، هلسنكي، مانشستر. في عمان،.

While Barack Obama, the 44th US President, was busy being sworn in on television, Jordanians tossed their old shoes at a large poster of Bush until it was eventually torn.

حبر- بعد اسبوع واحد من المظاهرات العنيفة في منطقة الرابية، توافد المتظاهرون مرة اخرى الى نفس الموقع بعد صلاة الجمعة. تجمع مئات المتظاهرون بجانب جامع الكالوتي ليعبروا عن غضبهم ازاء الأزمة في غزة، مطالبين بطرد السفير الإسرائيلي من الأردن والغاء معاهدة السلام الأردنية- الإسرائيلية. في حين انتهت مظاهرة الأسبوع الماضي بتدخل قوات الأمن، و استخدام.
